For the past decade, Trish woke up listeners across the South East every morning as host of the multi-award-winning Beat Breakfast. They provide their services to people often with very complex and high support needs. Their aim is to provide quality, person-centred services, which facilitate people with disabilities to live a life of their own choosing.

Cheshire support people with everyday daily tasks such as those needed to get up and about in the pursuits in their local community. Everything you and I take for granted as an able-bodied person.

They want to support adults with physical, sensory, and neurological conditions live in an environment which safeguards the individual’s rights while promoting wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.

They're a nationwide organisation providing services to over 270+ people in their own homes, in residential centres, in supported accommodation and in respite facilities and they were established in Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow in 1961.

They support people who are aged between 18 years and 65 years (on date of admission) who have disabilities which include but not limited to Cerebral Palsy; Multiple Sclerosis; Spina Bifida/Hydrocephalus; Stroke; and Acquired Brain Injury.

The main functions of staff are to support people when needed in areas such as clinical support, personal care, transfers/mobility, continence, medication management, showering/bathing, preparation of meals, eating, laundry, money management, and community involvement - supporting individuals to engage in social and recreational pursuits. Support in advocacy, tenancy, is also undertaken.
